First off, deepest apologies to Mr.Martin for taking so long to get this review up.
Second, this was a tremendous read.
The world building is some of the best I’ve read in quite some time. Each story adds more mystery and intensity to Elder’s Keep that allows it to grow into its own character. It is a living, breathing town that evolves naturally over the book.
The characters are well written and the few times where cliché pokes through, the situations are handled with care and never stray off into the land of “ridiculousness”.
It’s a very quick read which is either a good or bad thing depending on your personal preferences and it never overstays its welcome. I found each individual story to be well worth the time put into reading it and will most likely add it to my October reading list alongside John Dies At The End, This Book Is Full Of Spiders and Parasite Eve.

Highly recommended.
